Frequently asked questions

Do locked colors change?

No. Generate preserves locked colors exactly. Reset clears locks and restores the starting palette.

What does the contrast check measure?

It compares the two selected colors using WCAG relative luminance. A ratio of at least 4.5:1 meets AA for normal text and 3:1 for large text. This check does not evaluate an entire design.

Are my palettes saved?

No. Palettes stay in memory until you export them or leave the page. No account is needed.
